Mumford & Sons, Gentlemen of the Road.

On Sunday June 2nd, around golden hour was when we headed off to the San Manuel Amphitheater. Naturally we forgot a few items such as, the tickets, and of course, my camera. It was very frustrating to say the least, but somehow we made it, with the tickets, and no camera. We were able to find my friends, somehow, in the mass of 30,000 plus people. It was crazy business. They were right behind a speaker, which wasn't the best place, so we moved to the back. Of course we couldn't see much of the stage, but we got a beautiful view of the sunset, and the mountains. When Mumford & Sons came on it was absolutely wonderful, they started off with Lovers Eyes, which sounded so perfect, and definitely was a great opening song. I really don't have any words to describe how perfect the concert was, except for the fact that they sounded so beautiful, and it was all that I expected. I got to see one of my favorite bands, be with John, and hang with friends who I've missed. Therefore it was a great evening. Have love.

A CREEK.

So, John took me to this place in San Dimas, and it's pretty awesome. We went to explore this creek! I wish that we could have explored a little bit more, but there was what it looked like, some film students shooting a film in the area I wanted to take photos in. But here's some of my faves!

A Self Portrait

So, for school I had to do this "Self Portrait" project. It said that you had to express who you were, what you you were doing, what your goals are, and how you were going to get there. I decided that I wanted to take the project quite literally. I had John, my boyfriend, take the portraits of me that are above. I am pretty pleased with how all the photos came out, and I'm happy with how I did in the presentation, even if I was a little bit nervous. If you couldn't tell already, John has a natural talent when it comes to photography, and I really admire that quality in him. It's so nice to have found someone so amazing, similar, and loving to me. I don't think I could have ever found anyone else who is like him, and I am forever thankful for him.

Our 1 Month at Dana Point March 24th

So, John, and I spent a night in Dana Point, California for our one month anniversary, which was pretty awesome. I believe it was my first time ever going to this beach, and it was a very good first time as well. John, and I spent about half our day here, and we went to eat soup, took some photos of various things, and then left. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I don't need much. As long as I have him with me I am doing pretty damn good. I was pretty impressed with my camera on the last two shots above, I didn't think that she could get those types of shots, but I guess that's what happens when you manipulate everything in the right way! Anyway, more photos, and news to come!

Have love!

My Favorite Spot

So, this right here is my favorite spot, don't worry, you will definitely see more of it on this blog, and more stories that will go along with it. I believe that this is the very first time that I took John here. It was really a shame that we didn't catch the lighting in the "golden hour" but these photos are good enough, I hope!

Anyway more posts to come shortly. I am sorry I've been so absent.

Friday Snow Day

So, Friday.

I didn't do a whole lot, except go to school, go see John, which always makes me happy, and he and I went on a double date with his friend Jared, and Jared's lady, Katie. It snowed over where I live, and I live in the "high desert" of California, so I'm at about 3000 feet in elevation. I was almost worried that I wasn't going to make it to school that day, because of the snow, but thankfully it melted in time for me to leave. I get to school, and it was a pretty easy day. I only have one class right now, because I'm on academic probation, which sucks, but I am trying to make the best of it. After that I head on over to John's, we wait around his place, which included taking a nap, and him messing with my camera, taking the most random, and not so flattering photos of myself. Punk. So dinner came along, and we went to Panera, which was nice, because I love meeting John's friends, and I love Panera. (i got a fuji apple salad, yum). After dinner was done we headed out to watch the film "Oz". It was neat to see how The Wizard of Oz came to the land of Oz, and now it makes me want to watch The Wizard of Oz again now that I know some back story! So, that was my day. Not a lot, but it was fun, always fun.

A touch of PINK!

I absolutely LOVE my new hair. I got it done by Erika Scott, she's such a lovely gal, and a great hair stylist. I had a good time just talking to her about, her best friend, Scott. Who I like.. haha wait, was that too personal? Oh well, this is my blog, and I'm going to write how I feel. Any way.. I love my hair, and I'm so appreciative of the stylist who did it. So, if any of you Southern Californians ever want their hair done of styled, or their nails done message me, and I'll ask her to help you out!
